In Willamette Valley Oregon, A Diva Doesn’t Need To Teach Old Vines New Tricks

The warmer it gets (or, at least, is supposed to be), the more you’re craving a sunny afternoon in wine country.  Of course, no one looks more wine and diva-ine than you with Reidel in hand, but not everyone is worthy of such a view.  No offense, Napa, but you’re ever so crowded these days.

Divas, say hello to Willamette Valley, Oregon’s playground for your inner valley girl.  200+ boutique wineries, each giving new definition to the phrase “hard to get,” will quench your passion for pinot… and appropriately so.  You invented the concept.

Thrill your inner eco-foodie in the Bergström cellar with selected cheese, meats, breads and spreads.  Their artisan, non-industrial juice can also be sampled on a patio lanai overlooking the vineyards, and is almost walking distance from biodynamic de Lancelloti.  If you can swirl a reservation, their vineyard house couldn’t get any swankier.

Tired?  Take your inn crowd to Allison Inn & Spa… it’s a wonderland.  Not only is nearby Tina’s Dundee uber-romantic, but gourmet market and fine diner Farm To Fork will separate your eats from the chaff.  Housed in the fabulous Inn at the Red Hills, their meals (and overnights!) will make you eat your heart out.

It’s the perfect (Re)tour of Willamette wine country.
