SXSW : South by Southwest Divaworthy Events

When you think Texas, you think big hair and boots.  But when you think Austin, you think culture, nightlife and SXSW of course.

SXSW, as in South By South West.  Great music, internet and film – as in, hot parties and haute crowd.

What’s not to like?  You’re most def in this year because the festival is turning 25.  Things have been insane all week, and here’s our fave events, so you know where to be to close out the festivities in style:

Yes, my name is diva.  It’s lovely to make your e-quaintance.  Go world wide diva at Media Temple’s SXSW Interacting Closing Party, which starts Tuesday March 15 @ Stubbs BBQ at 8:30 pm.

Or maybe geek chic is more your thing this week (and why not?), so you’ll want to drop by the GeekyBeach Party SXSW11 at Aces Lounge.  Austin’s Sixth Street entertainment district knows how to do it with cocktails and swag from Tuesday, March 15 from 9:00 pm on.

You know you’ll be hungry after so many finales, so why not stop by the Music Fest Welcome Dinner at the Four Seasons?  Pencil in Wednesday, March 16 at 6:30 pm.

So if you are not in Austin better get on a plane now. You’ve never wanted to trade your stilettos for boots faster.
